A quick break from talking about Bear and The Cub, to tell you my news!
For those of you that may not know, I write books in my spare time under the pseudonym Angel McGregor... I work part-time, spend all of my time being a mom to my boys, and in the little time that I have left these days, usually after bedtime, I write fantasy fiction novels.
Before I had the boys, I was writing almost daily as part of my routine, and I have self-published eleven books now through Amazon... the last of which published at the beginning of this month and was the final book in a five-book series.
The Cursed Novels were my book baby, the original story started as an idea on the back of a worksheet in my creative writing class in my final year at University, all those years ago... The idea was one of those things that niggled at the back of my mind for a long time, and after I finished University, I started writing and got the beginning of what ended up as a five-book series. It took a long time from that first scribbled idea to publishing the first novel, but after that I committed and published the first four books on the same date for four consecutive years. Then there was a year's gap after becoming a mum of two and just struggling to balance life enough to get anything done after they'd gone to bed.
I knuckled down this year though and released that final book on the same date of this year, completing the series and closing the fifteen-year chapter of that story in my writing career.
I have a second series on the go too, of which there are currently six books, with plenty more to come. The Hidden World Novels are stories set in the same world, but not all of them relate to one another. Each of the stories so far can be read as a stand-alone, but if you read them all, you will find the thread of a storyline running in the background that will one day come to head.
